CPLP Summit opens new perspectives for cultural expansion

The minister integrates the delegation headed by the president of Angola, João Lourenço in the Summit of Head of States and Government of the CPLP.
She argued that the free circulation of people, cultural assets and businesspeople will contribute to a major cultural exchange among the Portuguese speaking countries.
Carolina Cerqueira also added that the cultural exchange can be set up through a tax regulation framework for the free mobility of goods and several cultural pieces to value the diversity and cultural identity of the community.
The Summit which is taking place under the motto "Culture, People and Oceans", will address the free movement of people and goods in the Portuguese Speaking Countries.
Created in 17 July of 1996, CPLP is an international organization formed by Portuguese speaking countries, whose aim is to deepening the mutual friendship and cooperation amongst the members.
CPLP is made up by Angola, Brazil, Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea Equatorial, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé e Príncipe and Timor-Leste.
